When You Want A Movie Done Right, Go Orange!

http://mlb.fanhouse.com/2009/07/10/the-moneyball-movie-is-on-again/

I have read a few things on this now and since it looks like this could be a done deal, I figured I would bring it up. It looks like the on again, off again movie based on Billy Beane's baseball book Moneyball has been green lighted again only this time with Syracuse alum Aaron Sorkin penning the script.

For those of you who are not familair with his work, or think you are not, here is a clip of him on Charlie Rose discussing his writing being interviewed at the time he was writing The West Wing.

Sorkin is one of my favorite writers whose work is not only highlighted by the series The West Wing but other series including SportsNight and Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip
and hit movies
The American President and A Few Good Men. I personally am looking forward to this script as Sorkin has a knack to mix as much factual information as possible while also adding a very entertaining touch to it with great mixes of drama and comedy. Obviously, this is still a long way from happening since he was just asked to write the script after the last two versions were not up to what the studio wanted out of it but when you want something done right, always Go Orange!
