Another Pen Bites The Dust But...

So I wake up this morning and see the Pittsburgh Penguins lost another player of this 08 Stanley Cup finals team as Jarkko Ruutu accepted a three-year, $3.9 million offer from Ottawa yesterday, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Also in this article though is some optimistic news that not only are they pursuing possible replacements, especially at forward and right wing but according to Dave Molinari, who wrote the article, they have a deal in place but need to work out more details to keep goalie Marc-Andre Fleury in Pittsburgh for years to come. Included in the article is a quote from Pens GM Ray Shero states, "I'm hopeful that in the next couple of days, something will work out there," said Shero, the Penguins' general manager." Those are the basics of the article but I will include the link below as it goes into great details about everything going on right now and he explains it better then I can along with other news from Shero, including his attempt to be optimistic about losing Hossa.
